The Mopar House is writing programs for mopars. You can download them for free and use them
and distribute them. The programs were written in visual basic for win 9*. You may need and extra dll if your computer doesn't already have it.
Please anyone who download these programs I am looking for feedback so I know how the program is doing.
All suggestions are welcome as well as constructive critisism I need to know what everyone likes and dislikes about them so the newer versions
can be better and more acurate.
The fendertag program is up and running. It works and so far is very accurate. I need help from all my readers. Before it can be released hopefully this year. I need help with all the codes. Anyone having any info at all pertaining to the definitions behind the codes please email them to me as I cannot use published books for the info so the info has to be obtained elsewhere. For legal reasons! The program will be free to download for everyone to use when I am done. I have mony hours into this program donated to the cause. But I need the help of my readers for the info. The vin testing procedure has been revamped for better more accurate vn testing and solves some bugs in the program.
WIN 9* MOPAR VIN DECODER
The above link is for the beta version of the fendertag program. It had a few reported bugs in it. 1966 vins came up invalid. Also some bugs in the vin testing part of the program which are all fixed now. I strongly suggest redownloading it the update was done 6/30/02 if you downloaded it before this date you will want the new version beta 1.1. The fendertag portion is not up and available yet. The vin decoder portion is available for download for people to test. It is the beta version so there may ba a mistake somewhere in the program. That is why it is so important for the users to let me know when there is a mistake so it can be corrected. If you would like to help without actually downloading the program you can email you vin number minus the last six "so its not traceable" and I can test it myself. WIN 9* RPM CALCULATOR DOWNLOAD
This program was ust updated on Feb 20, 02. It had a bug in it and was fixed I would recomend downloading it again.
This program will figure RPM's,Tire diameter,MPH or gear ratio. It compensates for automatics and overdrives
You can even set the overdrive ratio and the converter slipage factor although it has a default value if not set. Has been computer tested on
cars and is very acurate. And best of all its FREE.
WIN 9* AMCVIN DECODER
Here is a great program that was written for AMC enthusiast type in any vin # 68 to 88 any cars no jeeps except eagles etc.
It will decode all of your information found within the vin.
WIN 9* COMPRESSION DOWNLOAD
This is a compression calculator it has alot of mopar specs built right into it but it will work on any car.
MSVBVM50.DLL FILE
All the above files above require this VB runtime file to run and it runs all the files above it only needs to be downloaded once.
It will run all the above programs. You may already have it from another program if you don't just copy it to your windows\system directory.
For those of you that downloaded from here before I am using a older version of visual basic so you will have less files to download. But this file
you will have to download again. If you want to try the program first and see if you already have the program download the program you want and
try it it will tell you if you need this file.
The dos version programs below do not need the above files.
